RETZA @ RE ONE RIDE Cape Town
From Java Bistro Café in Stellenbosch, the heart of the South African winelands, we set off for the infamous Helshoogte pass, well-known for its winding roads and beautiful scenery.
We then descended into the Franschhoek valley and rode through this beautiful town with its quaint shops and cafes, before we headed straight up the majestic Franschhoek pass with its sweeping views over some of the world’s most famous wineries.

Shortly after we passed through the mountains we headed for Villiersdorp where we pulled over for a unique road-side breakfast served by the Baconville Restaurant (voted a South Africa top 100 Restaurant recently).
After breakfast, we continued through the winding Elgin and Grabouw farm roads towards Sir Lowry’s Pass, after which we joined the N2 to get to our final destination – the Festival and Concert at Vergenoegd Wine Estate.
