To book a Royal Enfield for your trip, simply click on the “Book Now” button. 

It will re-direct you to our booking platform, where you will be able to:

• Select the number of motorcycles
• Your preferred date
• And the number of required rental days.

Here, you can add any extras and add-ons (such as additional riding gear, saddle bags, transfers & out of office hour returns), and you can let us know about any specific sizes for your gear.

All information and inclusions will be displayed once again before your confirm your booking and make the payment. All major credit cards are accepted.

For your refundable security deposit, you have the option to make the payment here along with your rental booking, or to swipe your card at our shop upon rental begin. In that case, we will hold the required amount on your card.

A few points to consider:

• Please note, a rental day starts in the morning, (8:30am-10am) and it ends either at 5pm the same day (within our operating hours), or the next day before 9am.
• If you wish to pick up or return the motorcycle outside of our office hours, or to have the motorcycle delivered or picked up at another location, that’s of course possible, but against an extra fee. Please select the relevant add-on (Out of Office Hour Return or Bike Transfer) and add it to your shopping Basket.
• All bikes are standard equipped with a passenger seat. We do offer the option to add a small backrest for pillions. Please contact us if you’d like us to add one for you.

The rental price includes:

• Motorcycle rental (rental period: 24hrs, incl. 200km/day, extra km @R4 per km)
• 1 x complimentary Motorcycle Helmet for the rider
• A welcome Coffee at RETZA
• You will receive the motorcycle with a full tank of petrol and you are required to return it fully topped up. In case it is not fuelled up, we will charge R150 for refuelling plus the fuel costs.
• Motorcycle insurance with personal liability. Your personal excess is  R15,000. That means you will be liable for any damages up to ZAR 15,000 beyond regular wear and tear. A refundable security deposit of R15,000 will be due upon the first rental day.

Not included:

• Pick up/ return outside of office hours: R500 per pick up/return
• Bike transfer / delivery: POA, R500 one way within CT City (within 25km)
• Refundable Security Deposit: R15,000
• Any extra motorcycle gear or add-ons
• Fuel

If you don’t have your own motorcycle gear or don’t want to carry it all on a flight, we offer the hire of:

• Helmets (R125/day)
• Gloves (R70/day)
• Motorcycle Jackets (R150/day)
• Saddlebags (R230/day)
• Phone Holder (R150/day)
• Intercom (R200/day)

Please send us your enquiry, rental date and duration, and any add-ons that you’d like to book. We will send you a booking confirmation and online payment link to complete the booking.

DEPOSIT PAYMENTS:

You can either make the security deposit payment along with your booking online, or swipe your card at our card facility at the RETZA shop. The amount will be held until the completion of the rental and one the bike has been assessed and no damages have been noted.

It’s time for your adventure!

Upon your arrival at RETZA, we will welcome you with a warm smile and a hot coffee! 

Here, you will meet our RETZA team who will show and explain you the motorcycle and any information necessary.

Before you can hit the road, you will need to complete a few last formalities. The entire process usually takes 20-30 minutes:

• We need a copy of your motorcycle drivers licence
• Complete our RETZA Indemnity form & waiver
• Pay the security deposit if not already done
• Inspect your motorcycle and complete the motorcycle condition check list together with your RETZA team. We encourage you to take photos and videos of the bikes condition.

MOTORCYCLE CONDITION: The motorcycle is rented out as is, i.e. after a detailed check by the RETZA staff and the customer and the signage and approval of its condition. Any damages found upon its return will be considered new and are chargeable. Any issues encountered during the rental period must be immediately informed to RETZA who will advise on the next steps.

What if something happens?

• Should you face any difficulties with your bike, have a flat tyre or an accident, you must inform us immediately. 
• We will either guide you to the nearest petrol station or mechanic, or we will send assistance as soon as possible. Should there be an issue with the motorcycle itself (not caused by an accident and/or the rider), we will assess the situation and offer a replacement if possible.
• In case of any damages caused by the rider, we will assess the motorcycle and provide a detailed quote including the repair, spare parts and adjacent costs for settlement.

Even the best trips have to end!

On your last day of the rental, please let us know when we can expect you back, so that we are all ready for your return. 

Your rental return is usually quick and includes:

• Your welcome back coffee!
• Return of any add-ons/rental extras
• Petrol check (if fully fuelled up)
• A motorcycle inspection and countersigning of the bike condition checklist. Any damages found will be noted and documented, for further quotation. 

Should the bike be returned in a good condition and without any damages (beyond regular wear & tear), we will release the deposit which should reflect in your account within 5-7 working days. International transfers may take longer.

In case of any damages, we will continue to hold your deposit until the payment has been made. The personal liability is ZAR 15,000.
